Abstract

This article is a mandatory component of the clinical picture of epilepsy and has a significant impact on the quality of life of patients. Their severity depends on the duration of the disease, the clinical type of seizures, and the specific clinical form of the disease. According to diagnostic criteria, cognitive impairment predominates in symptomatology and is less noticeable in idiopathic epilepsy.
